2 Peter 3:1 The Day of the Lord

Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking.

COMPLETE WORKS CAMPAIGN

Revelation 3:2

Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God.

I want to take time to hold up two examples of fruitfulness that I know of in the United Kingdom churches.
These individuals have conducted campaigns of ‘Complete Works’ before and after the FIRST United Kingdom Covid -19 LOCKDOWN (March to August 2020) and have maintained a steady rate of hard work following up on every single contact that they have. They have done this with WhatsApp broadcasts, individual texts on WhatsApp and text messaging applications and also with telephone calls directly to their contacts. They have been able to get through in some way shape or form to many of the people that they know. Using a variety of methods they have achieved this. These disciples are not staff members or full-time in the church. Both of them hold down full time jobs. They are ordinary rank and file members.

Disciple 1
My wife Deirdre who has been through all of her contacts again, after already having done so several times over the last few years has been reaching out to a young woman for over a year who was baptized in the Birmingham International Christian church just in the last two weeks. This is as a direct result of long-term commitment to a relationship with that young lady and introducing her to the church in a number of different ways.

Disciple 2
Lastly I want to share about a young man in the Birmingham church called James Morgan (myself). I was privileged to have had my brothers Luke Snow and Chris Worth work hard on the streets of Birmingham while Frank was in South Africa baptising multiple young people over there last year. Luke and Chris left me hundreds of contacts which I have been diligently following up on since the 1st of September 2019. One of these young men was someone that they met on the street who had previously been met by Sean Hurdit, the leader of the Birmingham mission team. Eventually this young man called Wellington succumbed to the relentlessness of my follow-up and we built a relationship and he committed to restart in his studies with Frank and was baptised just this last week.

Brothers and sisters if you want to be personally fruitful you can absolutely 100-percent be personally fruitful. It is just a matter of applying the scriptures to your life as a disciple. If you’re not following up on every single person that you know you are missing one of the biggest God given opportunities to be personally fruitful that we have ever seen. I’ve been a disciple for nearly 30 years. This is a unique opportunity.
