Ethnocentrism is the tendency to believe that one’s ethnic or cultural group is centrally important, and that all other groups are measured in relation to one’s own.

The scriptures teach,

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 3:11 Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

1 Corinthians 9:21-23 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

Romans 16:24-27 25 Now to him who is able to establish you by my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, 26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might believe and obey him— 27 to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

The church should strive to reflect the ethnic diversity in the city it exists in. After planting it should quickly become ethnically diverse. The church should be planted in a way that facilitates this. The bible clearly teaches that the inter-racial, international nature of the church fulfils God’s purpose for man. The foundation of the church is Jesus and His Word. The foundation of the church is not family, national, racial or ethnic background.
Sadly I have been a member of both an all-white and a 99% black church in the international and multiracial city of London England before I became a true Christian in a church following the Scriptures. Race-relative religion is an abomination. It is racism-by-omission. Obviously, where one group forces another group on threat of death to be separate there are mitigating circumstances and true Christians will find ways to obey God and not man in these circumstances. In some cases this will lead to martyrdom. But when you have one-race churches in cities where you also have freely meeting inter-racial churches this is a clear case of deliberate disobedience to God. The ‘race gospel’ is not Jesus’ gospel.

God will simply not have that on Judgement day. If you believe in Ethnocentric religion, know this: Your truth is only for you and your kind and you like it that way and your way is not God’s way or you would be God. You and your kind are part of God’s larger creation. Open your eyes. Fine sounding moral and ethical arguments wont convince God.

It better not take 40 years to teach repentance. It better not take 40 years to repent.

Acts 17:26 From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.

Come. We will love you for who you are. Leave your preconceptions at the door. It is possible to be truly human. Save yourself from this corrupt generation.
